1. Adjust the center mirror
Adjust the left and right positions to the left edge of the mirror surface just to the right ear of the image in the mirror. This means that under normal driving conditions, you can't see yourself from the center rearview mirror. The lower position is to place the horizon in the distance in the center of the mirror.
The adjustment method of the center rearview mirror: swing the center horizontally and put the left side of the ear. The horizontal line in the distance is horizontally placed at the center line of the central rearview mirror, and then move left and right to place the image of your right ear just on the left edge of the mirror.
2. Adjust the left side mirror
When handling the up and down positions, place the horizon in the distance in the center, and adjust the left and right positions to 1/4 of the mirror area of the body.
The adjustment method of the left side mirror: put the horizontal line in the center line of the rearview mirror, and then adjust the edge of the body to 1/4 of the mirror image.
3. Adjust the right side mirror
Because the driver's seat is on the left, it is not so easy for the driver to grasp the situation on the right side of the car, plus the need for parking on the roadside, the ground area of the right side mirror should be kept larger when adjusting the upper and lower positions , About 2/3 of the mirror. As for the left and right positions, it can also be adjusted so that the car body occupies 1/4 mirror area.
The right side mirror adjustment method: place the horizontal line at 2/3 of the rearview mirror, and then adjust the edge of the body to 1/4 of the mirror image.
4. How to eliminate dead ends
Many people think that if they want to eliminate the blind spots, they should try to adjust the left and right rearview mirrors outward or downward. In addition, some studies have shown that it may be to maintain a neat appearance at any time, or to be eager to love the beauty, and many drivers adjust the center rearview mirror to be able to take in themselves, and these are all wrong practices. A normal driver can only see the range of 200 degrees to the left and right in front of him without turning his eyes. In other words, there is still about 160 degrees invisible. Remind the owner that although many new cars are now equipped with double-curvature rearview mirrors, this is only a slight expansion of the angle of view of the left and right rearview mirrors, and it does not completely cover all areas. This may further eliminate some dead angles, but the wider the angle of view, the greater the degree of distortion of the rearview mirror image.
